Because of a lot of manipulative BS I won't go into, our boss delayed buying our ticket until 2 weeks to departure.
We now have seperate flights on different days, with a 5:30 hour layover in Tokyo, 2:30 Hour layover in Chicago, in Economy Class. (I'm flying AA)
It took us 14 hours to fly direct Toronto to Incheon, it will take us 23 hours with 2 layovers to return.
This was NOT necessary, we showed her the Travelocity package that would've taken us direct, business class, 14 hours A MONTH AGO, but she didn't go for it because bluntly, she wants to be able to threaten not to give us our tickets if her staffing problem for the next two months doesn't go away.
The tickets arrived today and I was told that I'm not allowed to keep my, the boss will keep it 'safe' until I leave.
