I don't know if this was reported in US... but apparently leading US bigwig in Iraq was shouting for more funds NOW rather than the piddly few millions that wouldn't pay for the govt buildings to be repaired, let alone employing a beauracracy.

Sava: you do have the freedom to change it, you just don't have the ability. Just like a mute person has freedom of speech, but they still can't talk.

Plus, just because only certain people run doesn't mean it isn't a democracy. ANYONE (within the constitutional limits, which do NOT include wealth or race, and don't count) can run; however, most won't win. You have the right to run for president, not the right to be president.

What you are complaining about is our society.
