It was this old and unused area of ACS. Somebody found a way to access it, and a whole bunch of people went whole hog spamming there. Eventually the admins and mods found out, then the crackdown began.

Its true,
everyone sees me type something different, if they even see me type anything at all. Some people might see me type "**** you!" while someone else would see the same post say "I you"

Yes, it's called a GP, since GP is famous for taking breaks from Apolyton by asking Ming to ban him for X amount of months. Then he'll unban you if you want to come back later

IIRC, it was CyberShy who found out about Area 25. Of course, there's a conspiracy theory that goes it was a mod or admin who leaked the information.

AH's role in it was to let as many people to know about it as he could, AFAIK.

Lots of posters got nailed, then there were massive complaining and such in the Community forum.
