Installation Problem Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

I'm going to post this here, as I prefer the Poly community to most.

About a week ago, I tried reinstalling HoI.(After I had fully uninstalled it.) When I clicked Install, it froze. It seems only the install option is messing up, as I could access the readme just fine. After taking a look at cd, I decided it might have been caused do to scratches.

About twenty minutes ago, I attempted to reinstall EU2.(Again, after a full uninstall.) To my horror, the exact same problem appeared. This cannot be due to scratches...

Both games were brought brand-new at the store, so it isn't due to them being pirated copies. I was hoping someone here could help me out. I really want to play them! Thanks.

Thanks for the link! Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything on my problem. I think I've figured out what is wrong with it, though. I got it to work on my laptop, which has played them before...the others had different hard-drives, so it is probably due to the protection making it so that the 'drives can't read the cd(s).

Dont look - ask

The Volunteer Staff there are very good and helpful and will not bite. They will go out of their way to help you out. The copy protection does get in the way sometimes and they *can* help with that in genuine cases .....
