The following is a list of the land holdings of the Lords, as previously granted by the King:

The New Kingdom of House Togas

I have restablished the reign of Justino Togas and my family. May I live to see Spain free again. Should I die before Spain is return to our people, may my sons or their sons live to see the day that all of Spain is again under our rightful command.

The territories and provinces of the Lords of Spain shall henseforth remain, and shall be returned to the great Lords of Spain upon their reconquest.

The Dukedom of Barcelona shall remain in control of Lord Astrologix and may God bless him and his people, and allow it to remain free. Should the Dukedom come under assault we shall allow the stewards of Gathering Storm the ability to protect it.

The Dukedom of Madrid and Toledo are the eternal property of the Clemente and History families, respectively. And shall return to them once the protectors of Gathering Storm have finished with their service.

However, the following changes shall be made:

The land that formerly belonged to Lords Aidun, BigFree, and Davout is hereby TAKEN from them.

The Dukedom of Zaragoza (upon it's return to Spain) shall be given to Dejon.

Lords Aidun, BigFree, and Davout, for their treason and disloyalty to the crown should be sentanced to death, but in this time of crisis we cannot afford to kill our own. Instead I make the following command:

Lords Aidun, BigFree, and Davout are hereby enlisted into the Spanish army. Each shall be given to a separate unmounted division of either pikes or infantry. THEY SHALL NOT BE GIVEN COMMAND, they shall each pick up the pike or mace and stand shoulder to shoulder with the peasantry who fight to defend Spain.

Should they perish in battle, their children shall be reinstated into the ranks of Nobles, so long as they do not take up the treasonous ways of their fathers.

Should they kill the enemy and survive combat to see Spain free again, they shall be allowed to return to their homes and families and shall be given a full pardon from their crimes against the crown.

Should they choose not to fight the enemy, then they shall surely be executed as cowards. Should they desert or, worse, go to the other side, they and their families shall be executed.

Let it be known,

Justino Togas is very ill and has been unable to tend to the affairs of Spain. His family has all gathered in Pamplona to tend to him. Prayers continue and healers remain by his side, all hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

During this period of illness the recently appointed Lord Chamberlain, Arnelos, will manage the nation with the help of the other lords.

Update:

(OOC) My computer arrived Monday, it's now been fully assembled and MOST of my issues fixed last night. I have one issue holding me up -- my onboard Ethernet Card isn't being "found" by my computer and I couldn't download any drivers for it because I can't get to the network until I fix it.

Found the Motherboard's website and found the right drivers. Going to DL them from work on a disk, then use that and hopefully get myself online tonight ... hopefully. Assuming I have no futher troubles.

(IC) Justino Togas is really really old. He finally succumed to sickness and died just recently. The family continues to mourn. The oldest son has devoted himself to the church and has no interest in serving as King. The next son in line is still a teenager, and has needed the guidance and aid of the Ministers to help him run the nation. Therefore, I ask that the current Lord Chancellor (Arnelos) and Marshall (BigFree) continue to help our young King govern the nation.

Therefore, if the Monarchy is to remain, the next in line to be King is young Fernando Togas.

The King is dead. Long live the King.

p.s. With the honorable deaths of BigFree, Aidun, and Davout in battle in the defense of Spain, their families have received a full pardon and have been reinstated into Spanish noble society.
