Assuming we want to replace Elipolis with a city one tile away (do we?), we could either do a straight abandon and put the new city up this turn or wait a turn and have enough shields to disband wtih a worker. Alternatively, we could make Elipolis in its current location our FP city and use our settler to found a city elsewhere.

I'd rather wait one turn, and disband with a worker.

D-ville: if we want to move that one too, can we wait until it grows to size 2, and disband with a rushed settler? it shouldn't be more then 80 gold to rush the rest of it, which is not that much for an extra city

Tired of ads?

My initial thought about moving Elipolis one tile 7 is that it would put BbtS, HH, and Inchon all at the same distance from the FP as each other. If we're going to end up moving those cities anyways, it would be best to just leave Elipolis where it is, and plan the new cities around it.

We're looking at a rather long build on the FP (Courthouse, and then probably ~40-50 turns, so 80+) so a few turns one way or the other isn't going to make much of a difference. Probably be best to get the Settler and a Worker out before starting either way.

--------------

As for the cities around it, Inchon on one of our few hills up there is going to hurt from a production standpoint. A city 99 of Inchon would give access to the Whale, but would be best if we also are moving Elipolis 7. BbtS should almost definitley be moved 1 to access more coastal and sea tiles. HH is nicely placed.

Playing the turn...

Deals with ND (our map for 20 gold); GoW (our map, 200 gold, and furs for wines, Chivalry, and their map); and RP (map for map) completed.

Turn and shots sent. By the way, the galley (with two pikes aboard) scouting toward RP found some more sea that probably will, at the very least, let us get a lot farther south without being spotted than I was afraid might be likely. Barring an island or shallow-watter region between us, there is no lighthouse crossing directly to Lego.

Looks like Lego's land is roughly on par RP's. There are those two rivers in the mid and S Lego which are pretty undefined. IF they pass through the Deserts (which would then be FP's) their land would be marginally better than RP's. Otherwise I think RP might actually have an advantage as so many of their tiles are on rivers, and they have so many luxuries.

Lego's land tile count it 367 (if they build a city at the bottleneck), with Vox having roughly 80. Like us, they will be able to claim a higher percentage of coastal and sea tiles, but unlike us they will have a huge production capacity with all those hills.
