He's posted quite a lot at CFC, but shyed away from here. |
May never have posted, but quite frequently lurking.
And apologies for never having posted before. Problem was due to a technical difficulty on my end... what I used to call an "eye-dee-ten-tee" problem, once upon a time. (I.D.10.T.) I would try to post, be given an error message, and just tell myself I'd figure it out later. Then I realized today that I never confirmed my registration. Duh.
We just got back from the first leg of our press tour yesterday, and GameSpot was the first to post a preview. So naturally I'm on the forums more this week, reading your reactions, praise, damnations, and occasional trolling.
Best,
Jeff Foley

Bolivia did at one time have a coastline on the Pacific Ocean. From a website:
Some of these Bolivian dictators involved themselves in the internal struggles of Peru (in which Chile also intervened), while others struggled to prevent the annexation of Bolivia by Peru. The position of Bolivia's boundaries was uncertain and subject to conflict. However, Bolivian territory extended to the Pacific and included most of the coast of the Atacama desert and the port of Antofagasta. The discovery of rich nitrate deposits in the Atacama desert and rising border tensions led the outbreak of war betweeen Chile and Bolivia (1879-1883), in which Peru participated on the side of Bolivia. Chile's victory in this war resulted in Bolivia's loss of its outlet to the Pacific. Efforts, mainly political, to regain some outlet to the sea failed. The railway which linked Bolivia with the Pacific coast (Oruro-Antofagasta) was inaugurated in 1892.
