	Help! Como se dice "noob" en Éspañol? Remove this text

But seriously, hombres, I'm at work and my manager used one of those Artificial Idiot translators to make signs in Spanish. ¡Ay, caramba!

I am fairly sure the Spanish I took 20 yrs ago stuck with me enough to do better than that. A little help from some native or more experienced speakers would be appreciated. Here's what I've got to work from

I will assume that this is for a hotel, i would probably replace 'mostrador' for "front desk".
Not a word for word translation, but it will work fine for your purposes. I had to translate back to english to understand the full meaning of the message.

Ropa es la palabra en el tip of my tongue. "Lavadero" would be a person (launderer) I think. I knew there had to be a proper idiom instead of "escritorio."

The service is technically "next day" (guaranteed) but as long as they get the clothes to us before housekeepers are due in (so we know how many to call in) we can get them done by evening the same day.

This is what I was trying to say (in the 1:17 EDT post). I hope I was much closer than the idiot program. What should I use for "housekeeping"?

We will provide tags or labels (see below) and single use laundry bags. The "translator" used "hierro" for iron on the label

Shirts [ folded / ironed ]
Pants [ folded / ironed ]

They need to circle whether they want them ironed or just folded

Please have patience, hace 20 años since my last Éspañol lesson… You're such a dear to help instead of just pointing and laughing.

At least I knew lavadero wasn't the right word. In High School and University I took both Spanish and German. When I stopped taking classes the vocabularies became muddled, and soon I would think of the German word when searching for the Spanish, &vv.

Now I read things and a little message comes from somewhere deep in my mind: "That word looks familiar. I probably knew what it meant."

O, right, the accusative pronoun makes it easier and clearer. I forget such things. I spend so much time de-personalizing stuff so it looks professional. Somebody has to around here.

I live and work around Augusta GA (no I don't golf). My manager is a good ol' boy from Mississippi or somewhere and doesn't speak the language much better than the Mexican workers. He can barely keep from posting a sign: "Y'all bring yer grubbies here an' we'll warsh 'em fer $9. Arnin' is extry."
