	San Diego Poly meet update. Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I bought my plane ticket yesterday or actually I cashed in my free plane ticket voucher. Is anyone else going to be in San Diego during Aug 1-3? I haven't heard anything since the thread a few weeks back but it sounded like we had around a dozen people who'd be able to make it.

It's a Friday-Sunday weekend. As I recall Ixnay, MtG, and alot of other people all said they'd be interested in doing a few of the tourist things in San Diego and Tijuana. It sounded like a lot of fun so I hope we're still doing it.

Sorry, but I'm not going to be there. I was in SD for a month and couldn't land a job, so I came back to MT. I'm going back a week from now for comic con, but that's it.

I was thinking about going to Gaslamp or maybe to Casa De Bandini in old town. Bandini is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant; it been around for 150 years and one taste will tell you why. I'm open to do anything though and hopefully a few others will join us.

It's right on the corner across from the old stone Catholic church near the east entrence to the park. I've been there and had many a yard there.

There's also a place called the Yard house down in the Gas Lamp which will sell you a yard of beer but they make their glasses thinner so you get less beer then the place in Old Town.

Closest I got to the Gaslamp is Patrick's II, around the corner from Croce's.

A friend of mine used to work at Croce's; he'd get my friends and I in for free and even hook us up with the odd free beer. It really sucks that all of my friends have grown up and gotten real jobs because now I've lost all of my hook ups.

So far we have Oerdin, Devilmunchkin, TOC, Lonestar, & Dissident going with Fez, MtG, and Tuberski in the possibly going catagory.

I know we had around 12 others in the last thread who said they wanted to come but I don't think they've spotted this thread yet. If we let them know the poly meet is still happening then I'm sure several of these people would want to go.
