	IP game Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

I'm new to AC multiplaying, and have been trying to find a way to start an IP game. If anyone would like to play, I'm free for a while. I've got SMAX and prefer to play the Usurpers.

70%-90% ocean
Average erosive forces
Rare native life
Dense cloud cover
Talent difficulty
spoils of war off
blind research off
no unity survey on

Heya smarthead,

If you want to set up an IP game, then the best bet is probably to get ICQ, post your ICQ number here, and set a time a few days from now when you you will be online and want to play. That way people have some time to respond, and a more efficient way to organize it than posting here.

Welcome to SMAC multiplay, but be prepared to surrender the rest of your life for a while!

What is ICQ? I've never used it before, but I've heard the name.

I should be on Monday the 14th, from about 7:00 PM (central time in the USA, about 6 hours behind GMT) 'till after midnight. If someone wants to chat/play earlier, let me know here and I'll do my best to be on then. I'm hoping to play sometime soon, as I've never been able to play multiplayer until now. Most of the people who i've played IP games with are european so starting at roughly 11/12 and expecting 4 or so hours of gameplay is asking abit much If your willing to start afternoon your time then i'd be interested.

Sure. Pretty much everything I post is variable. Let me know a time when you would be able to play, and I'll most likely be able to play then. Let me know what time zone you're in, though, so that I can get the right time here.

with the amount of players we've gathered now im not sure, lag and such gets rather bad with high amounts, however with the amount of people who have shown interest recently im sure theres going to be plenty more IP games starting if you get ICQ and start contacting people.

Well when it eventually got started was a decent game, pity the poor uni started out next to my Hive and in a FFA game
