	Linking to pictures attached to posts Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

If there is a picture attached to a post is there any way to link to the picture without the post?
For example:
Post A has a picture attached to it.
I don't want to download the pic and attach it to my post.
How do I link to the picture by itself?

Right Click on the picture, select "Properties" Now you can see the url on the server for that picture, copy it and use it wherever you want . (With the IMG tags)

Don´t leave any space between the IMG and the url.

I think you must link to the IMG file.

Just guessing here, but maybe the IMG tag needs the link to be a .gif or .jpg file. Which means you can't use is on an image attachment. But if it's civ related you could upload it first.

A file I uploaded into Apolyton.net using the upload link...
http://apolyton.net/upload/files/ba.../au204Thumb.jpg into the img tag...

But this way the image needs to be associated with one of the games doing with civ or you will eventually receive a ban and the offending image removed.

So the image you were trying to attach wouldn't be able to be uploaded into your upload account. But you could upload it to any website and link to it from there. Just NOT as an attachment to a post in apolyton.

Sure: just find a website that'll host your page for free and use their server. Or use one that comes with your internet account if applicable.

Why so squeemish about d/l and attach method? Seems to me that in order to get the pic onto another webserver you'd still have to d/l from here to your comp, then u/l to the other website…
