What direction should we send the jags in? just exploring randomly?

As I see it we have two major options here, one is to send them out as far as possible to make contact or to move themin arcs to discover the land close to us first and find good city sites etc.

A combination will also work, send max one or two to distant land while the rest explore the territory close to us.

I recommend keeping that 3rd Jaguar home to defend the capital. The other two, explore as needed I guess.

If we're planning to do a Jaguar rush, sending them out to actually find people might be more valuable than just arcing about to see land. But I'm still not sure we want to do a Jaguar rush.

The previous team has sent us the save, btw (according to the save game thread). I guess OPD is the only one currently with it? I'll check my box just in case, but I'm pretty sure I'm not one of the people they send it to

Ok am in the chat room, arnie was there but I think he's been disconnected as his ping isn't responding.

Culture expansion, WF to wheat,
2nd Jag is still 4 turns from completion.
Growth in 5, Myst in 18 turns, last in productivity and GNP while 5th in MFG. Also Camelot is now size 3 I don't know whose city that is.
Worker finishes mining in 2 turns.

Jag moves NW, N and finds.........

more flood plains,
a big lake well could be sea/ocean and.....
a hut which we can pop next turn

other than that some more desert and what looks like some grassland to the north.
Also the culture expansion shows what looks like grassland to the SW and some plains at the end of the desert to the NE.

As for the hut I've got this feeling it's going to be a settler.

OPD and I just noticed that since the WF was set to plains the last 3 turns rather than the second flood plain, our first two jags are 1 turn early, but all pop-up's in the plan will be 1 turn late, which consequently means that all jags after the first 3 will be 1 turn late.

Not a BIG deal, though. I've already written an altered version of the original plan I wrote. Same WF's, just one turn delays after the first jump to Pop 3 compared to the original.

Oh well.

That may have been my fault, at least the first(or second?) turn. I noticed AFTER I sent the save that one worker should have been reassigned

I guess I'm not used to this level of micro-managing yet.


Perhaps we should add more people to the list of who's getting the save? I had a frustrating experience last night when I saw that tabemono had sent us the save but ODP didn't forward to me while I was awake. I didn't get it until 2 hours after I had logged off and went to sleep.
