Fear sunshine!

These are broader issues of how we intend to play the opening game -- a critical part of long-term success IMHO. All these points are meant to generate discussion. Please feel free to post your opinion about how's best to get us where we need to be
Strategy
Playing as the Greeks is a great deterrent to early warfare for our enemies in the ancient era. Our REX is to be feared by the other teams, and we have made it a point to make Pottery our first discovery and seal the deal with a granary in Sunshinia sooner rather than later. The question, then, is: when do we build this improvement?
There are obviously other priorities (exploration, defense, etc.) and pressure to get that first city up and running. However, we have a floodplains start which tends to speed up growth at lower pop. levels at the expense of production. In these situations, my play strategy is usually to push the pop. to at least size 4 (and preferably size 5) before building settlers and, thereby, keep the city out of the unproductive range. We would fly under the radar for awhile with the appearance of slow start while coming on stronger when we have reached a size that allows a comfortable cycle for REX. If a granary were built in that time, we would be golden.
Is this acceptable as a plan of action or is there another strategy we should consider implementing?
Builds...
We currently have 2 warriors exploring, 1 worker workin,g and another warrior in Sunshinia's queue (which is up for debate). That third warrior would take 5 turns to build, would be done right when we hit size 3, and would become the city's garrison. However, another option remains.
At this point, we are in a perfect position to time another worker for just when the city hits size 3, dropping the city back to pop. 2 but also putting us on an equal footing with the Industrious civs in the game (of which there are 3). I hate to see our infrastructure languish, especially when we are currently 5th in productivity (according to the Demographics). Mr. Rogers, a only worker, is slugging away at building a mine and taking 6 turns to do so
Whatever we decided, it should be noted that this unit will be our 4th and the last that we can support for free until another city is in place.
So, what would you like to see our queue be in the near future, and is our lazy workforce a concern to you? Also, at what point would you think about squeezing a granary in?
Barbarian Levels
All other things must be tempered with the fact that we are on Restless setting for barbs. Though we are on Monarch level and should get a fair bonus against them, they are still going to be pretty numerous in about 20 turns or 1000 years. Of course, they also represent a great source of cash flow for our empire
.....
Just some things I'd like to see clarified so I know what where we are going as a team. Thanks

For us to grow at the rate we plan to, we are going to need than 2nd worker. We can get along with 1 less warrior but doubling our workforce this early will allow us to at least attempt to keep up our improvements with our massive city growth once the granary is complete.
This is a good time to fit in a worker. Let's do it.

I think it should be:
Worker (change from current warrior), Warrior, Settler, Granery.
