It's not a new Europa Universalis, if that's what you're hoping...

I heard that this Crown of The North will have all of EUII within it. Is this true. That is to say I heard the American version would.

The Strategy First publisher version will have the latest version of EU2 included, along with several user made scenarios.
Crown of the North also includes the translated version of Svea Rike III. Previously the game was only available in Swedish.

No, Svea Rike III is a spin-off of EU1. Made and released shortly after EU1, and based on the same engine. SRIII have less deep and are more like a common RTS.
No attrittion, more units and so on.
It do however have an event system similar to the one in EU2.
Not a bad game, but not at all as good as EU in my opinon.

I am sure, it is based on the EU engine (at least they said so when it was released), and it was released after EU but before EU2. It seemed to me at the time that PARADOX may have been low on money after the extensive work on EU and until the money started rolling in from it, so they made a RTS based on EU to get som quick cach without to much work, just adapting
But EU2 is later.
