Is anybody else out there getting tired of playing the same old game time and time again. What sense of accomplishment is acquired by winning a game from huts or starting position? Looking for something different? Want to get into the modern age quickly ( both in real time and civ years)?
I have continuously attacked the programing and programers of Civ 2, but...
There is one thing that they included in the game that was brilliant but goes unused. Something that could transform a boring game into something radically different. A game that will make you think more about Civ 2 in a few turns then you did in years of playing?
Try creating scenerios using the toggle scenerio flag.
I have been playing alot of "specialty" games lately.
1 Game we set up, 20 settlers,20 horseman and 10,000 gold at start on premade board with a bidding system to determine who gets to build which wonders. And setting the tech peridign at 3/10, which essentially makes tech 3 times easier to get. And it was a blast.
Take a look at the scenerio building tools, see what you like.
Anybody want to try something new, for fun, for league, I dont care. I just want something new and different that will allow games to get to modern days competitively and fast so it can be played in only several hours.
