What are our priorities for infastructure during our GA ?

I'd certainly like to slip in a temple or marketplace in "The Hill".

We are never going dominate in science...should we even bother with libraries ?

What else ?

Interesting point there.

I would never have thought of foregoing ALL tech buildings...with 40 turning, it may even be possible to trade a tech or two in the future with 0 science!

However, will we have enough to trade for the techs?

I'ld like to see a market and temple in each city, aqueducts where needed. We should be getting ready to abandon the camps shortly after the end of the GA, so should be growing the permanent city sites.

Camps should build settlers and workers towards the end of the GA in preperation of that. We will need the settlers to claim our own land, and we always need workers.

I would prioritize as follows:

- Aqueducts in a few large non-river cities
- Marketplaces

I think MP demo games reduce the importance of fast techs since you always agree with other people on research. We can still be on the edge with skillful diplomacy and tech trades.

You realize that Leo's Workshop is a lot more expensive than the GL, and it will take you another 20 turns at full speed to finish it once you get Invention, right?

Lego is not supposed to build it according to our deal, RP will have other problems soon enough, Vox ...

GS is a potential problem, ND is a potential problem. Assuming we are first, we just need to be careful of who we sell to, or get a do not build clause in return.

and Ghengis was booted out of office and had his infrastructure build plan demolished so I will have to show you that city in another PBEM game. Maybe the GoW PBEM game #2 assuming it ever gets around to my turn again............

Is UnOrthO still sitting on that game?

My build choices are Temples and Marketplaces in choice cities.

Back to this interesting topic. Who here wants to vote to cancell the Iron trade with ND for a few turns?

The twenty turn limit of the original deal is up. ND can cancel at anytime. Let them so we can build more 20 shield horsemen to up grade to Riders when we are ready. We could also build some MI at 10 shield a piece warriors to upgrade. Remember, money is easier to come by than shields!

I think we have to calculate how much extra $$ we'll be getting from our GA. If we can get a bunch of extra $$ that makes the upgrades worthwhile, hell, go for it. If not we'll have to go with the shields.

The idea is that we're trying to go for Invention as fast as possible too.

Unless someone wants to make a scenario, I suggest we start our GA, and see how our gold goes.

As MZ said, we want invention ASAP as well.

yeah, I think it might be cool to see how much $$ we'll get with 100% tax in our GA.

Then we can decide if it would be best to build 8 quick horsies and upgrade them ASAP. That'd give us 2 stacks of 14 riders, 28 total.

Say we can do this in 5 turns, I think it would be awsome, we know have a sufficiently powerful rider force and can switch to non-military production for the next 15 turns, 28 riders should last a looong time.
