i know people who hated the aunt jamima logo (and also Juan Valdez and the Cream of Wheat guy) but my attitude was always like, if racism is so prevelent, why is this what you're getting so mad about know what i mean?

ultimately, aunt jamima meant little but it also means little to change it so if Quaker or whatever company makes it wants to switch it up good for them.

I recently saw a t-shirt from Aryanzombie & *****, which had the logo 'Two Wongs can make it White!', accompanied by little rickshaw-pushing slants.

Being of Chinese descent, I was almost offended. I mean, culturally I think I was supposed to be upset, but then again I still say 'United Negro College Fund' just to take the piss out of people.

i was offended, not because of the chinese thing, but because i couldn't believe an image-conscious company would shoot itself in the foot with a growing market by tempting p.c.
