	GCA Great Leader Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Since it was suggested () I'm posting a thread on this.

Yes, GCA got a leader against CFC after GCA had an elite unit on top of CFC's second iron. CFC claims it will be destroyed soon. Check the CFC FAM thread for the actual transcript.

Well we can hope they do kill it soon, in which case I'm sure we'll hear about it

If not and it makes a WoW then that's no biggy either as long as we take it soon after they start to recover from this current war. If they make an army that may prove to be somewhat nasty, but at least it can't go on the offensive against us without getting nobbled in the jungles. CFC and CDG of course have far more to worry of the army than we do, and I don't think we need fear too much even if the army outlasts this war. With the sorts of numbers we will be fielding as a minimum stack, that army would be toast, it would just mean we shouldn't risk smaller stacks whilst it is alive and threatening.

They would build a wonder with it likely, not an Army. At least that is what I would do. I'd build the Pyramids.

I don't know that I'd build a wonder with two civs breathing down my throat. I suspect they'll be more worried about survival......

I don't think I mentioned it previously:

Octavian told me that the GCA leader escaped. Expect to see a wonder pop up in the next 5 turns. If not, then expect to see a GCA Army in 30.

How could they let the Leader escape!? Are CFC and GCA really allies?

In another thread I just proposed that we lay low and focus on being the Builder again. But if we see The Pyramids pop up in a GCA city, screw it, we're going all out war. If they build an Army, well, we'll have the pleasure of defeating it...eventually.

Don't leaders have 3 moves? They could easily get away even if CFC had units behind it.

I would say them building an army depends on how the cfc war is faring. If they are at a standstill, that would be the kind of thing that could break cfc's ranks.

Unless CFC is not really as threatened by GCA as seems to be common conception, why would they build the Pyramids or a WoW at all, only to lose it a little later? I think that unless CFC are really stupid (they are not) or they can now hold their own against GCA, there will be an army sooner or later.
