I was just told that two of the top ranked players in gameleague (doesn't matter who) are playing a game for "fun." This kind of irks me. I think, besides the fact that all games are fun, that 2 league members should not play and not report who wins, except under specific circumstances, like trying to teach a strategy, or if they are in your tribe. This negates the purpose of the league and makes the rankings meaningless...

Despite my long inactivity i play league games whenever im given the oportunity to do so. I'm not afraid of losing points, i have a pretty god reason to why i have lost 3 games so far  But i must say that ill soon give up playing ladder games anymore, most people seem to prefer to be inactive, or play so called "fun games". Why even bother to spend hours looking for players when no one feels like donating some poínts to me
Lost 3 games so far ARGH, well ill be stuck down here thx to inactivity and fun games. It's allways been like this, but i think it's even more of a problem now then it has ever been.

This goes for tribe games aswell. i think that this is especially sad, cus tribegames are much more fun!!!
There's no spirit to fun games, i really hate fun games, i have played some fun games as well with kuja, and why would he play me when he will lose points even if he wins. Credit to kuja who's accepting challanges all the time! that is to say when ur not about to put tons of points at stake I can understand that!
AND WHAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF IS THAT I HAVE EVEN SEEN COMPLAINS ABOUT HIM PLAYING TO MANY GAME WTF IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!!!!

This gives me no option but to start playing fun games all the time, and then i might as well go away again and play another game, cus when u have played civ for 8 years then fun games don't appeal fun any more!!!!

ataully it was me and weird god that kaak was refering to. WG has no time to play a med map board and i dont play small map for league anymore since the games usually just suck. And todays 2 games were no exception, they just sucked. Over and done with in 30 mins for both games.
The will to spend time playing league games ha been ripped away by the cheater that holds the top spot ( Again I challenge kuja to tell us what he doe differently then the rest).
I am now organizing a full league wide ban on playing Kuja. He has cheated in the past and will continue to do so. If he finds nobody to play him, then and only then will league be able to move on and let someone who does not cheat challenge for the top spot.

Well i dont think his refering to somebody, i think he's refering to everybody that are a part of this league!!!! Your not the only ones playing fun games or beeing inactive, most folks are!!!!!!
And plz tell me what kuja has done cus i have failed to understand that yet.

That's the whole thing, A-Team has nothing but speculations. He has no evidence. He can't even put up a good fight against me, let alone organize something league wide so don't worry about it. Nobody pays him any heed anyways.

Bergman, please stop cluttering up the message board with bullsh*t. I understand that you just came back here and don't have a clue what is going on, but stop posting your views on the situation. If you had been around earlier you would understand the long and complicated saga of cheaters like angular burrito, Viejo Verde, Hidden Horror, KaSya, The Nothing, etc... and how certain individuals in the gameleague ladder fit in to it. So PLEASE, stop spreading confusion and defending what you know nothing about.

Ok Berg, that's fair. The basic explanation is that we have here someone who has been banned from gameleague previously (speculation, mind you  ): He came here out of nowhere a MONTH ago and is suddenly on top of the ladder, beating well established players. This is a cyclical event around here, we get rid of cheaters only to have them come back under a new ip, probably when their neighbourhood's ip undergoes a change (it happens often). Through trial and error he has learned to cheat subtly so there is no concrete proof, it is called "mapping" or using a second computer to see the board you are playing on and what your opponent is up to. You don't need to blatantly run straight towards huts or your opponents capital to win while mapping, you just need to know what is going on and keep a step ahead of the competition.
Yes, I did see the main point of your post about people playing many league games. I was responding to a reoccuring theme in your posts though, the same hyper liberal fairy cr*p I am so opposed to when dealing with cheaters.
Anyhow, say what you will and I'll do the same . I'm just a fool with his speculations.

ah, so rather than being labeled a cheater, i am now labeled "a subtle cheater". however when it just comes down to it, you guys are just trying to knock me down once i reached the top. notice how everybody brings out allegations of me being a cheater once i became #1??? probably a day after. and by you just speculating on me mapping or whatever, it's just that, speculation. if i did do such a thing, how would i ever lose? how would my capital be taken early like in my losses? the real reason is that you can't stand me being better than you. and ateam, i don't do much difference than you, however i have only played you once or twice, so i can't really say what i do different than you. civ is a game of choices, of what to build, of what to learn, etc. and i never play the same way, it all depends on how many cities, etc. for what tech path i choose. so to state my strategies in a forum like this would take many many pages, and it would be easier to see if you played me rather than having me explain it. and you really should read the strategy section on advanced tactics or whatever it's called. using demographics is a power thing, for example if you can decipher them to realize your opponent has a whale, then you look by ocean. simple things like that. so rather than bash eyes, marcus, etc, learn from him. i do all the time
