	Problem finding CD-ROM Inflate your Upload Space

Hello,

I think I have a unique problem, or ay least I couldn't find a similar post.

I have recently purchased a new computer, which has the CD-ROM on the E: drive instead of the D: drive. I have re-installed CivIII and the 1.29f patch onto the E drive.

When I go to play the game the splash screen pops up and then I get an error message that says:

Cannot locate the Civilization III CD-ROM

Please Eject and re-insert the Civilization III CD-ROM, then press OK and restart the application.

Can anyone assist me with this problem.

I solved my own problem.

I upgrade my DirectX driver from 8a to 9a, although 8a should have been good enough. As a result it got past the error message, but froze as a black screen before the movie started. I deleted the movies and it loaded fine.

Hopefully I do not run into anymore problems.

To solve all yuor problems you should contact infogrames and they can give you a special .exe that will allow you to bypass these checks. I was having problems too and they solved it no problem.
