Using a "Customized Random Map" (wet, dry, islands, contients, ages) is not cheating reguardless of the opponents knowledge of the map. In that case its the opponents burden to ask the settings and leave before hand if they offend them in some way.
Using any "Premade" map is without informing the opponents of the map is strictly illegal. Even a premade random map is questionable because it lends its self to one or more players having predetermined knowledge of the board. Even use of a "3rd party map" must be discussed before play.
Let me just take time to say I'm worried about the way the threads on this board are heading. I want more trash talk about games, and less trash talk about people. The atmosphere being created in some cases in not good for MY HAPPY LITTLE GAMING COMMUNITY. One of these days I just may have to go old testiment on y'all and it won't be my fault cause you've been warned. No matter how bad you are, how eternal you think you are, how skilled you are, I don't care...don't take part in such activities that I feel are destructive to my little corner of the Civ2 world, to do so is to bring my holy wrath on you. You hear me? I really don't care...I'll make you into NOTHING, I can and will, don't mess with my league from growing and being a happy, fun place to be!
BTW Give me the map, and the rest of you shut up unless you have something neat to say about a game.

Thank you Frank. I always customize my world when I host and I was wondering if I was a"cheater".I have never liked what the world was like when I randomized settings. If its just a zone game I usually dont say too much about settings other than king med 2x2x but when others ask, which is seldom I tell them the rest of the settings. When in a league game when I host I will ask others what settings they prefer and then we come to an agreement.Occasionlly there may be someone who wont play on the settings agreed upon by the majority and they will decide not to play which is fine.At least they know what to expect.I love to play this game because of the interaction between people but I also enjoy the competition of playing against others. I still dont understand why a few want to come on and cheat,as it seems it would be rather boring after awhile winning all your games due to your"skills".If there is no challenge, there is no fun in my opinion.

One should not have to have a 10 page list of negotiated points before playing a League game. The idea is asinine.
You mis-speak if you say that making a custom map, where you know the land mass specifics, is not cheating.
It most certainly is, if those facts are not presented to all.

I think that says it pretty clearly. Who hosted that first game? It seems everyone is saying you actually hosted it.....

ya hear that slowwhand and everyone else? flaming an individual without proof is a major offense, so you'd better heed frank's warning. as for the tribe game, i can't even remember who hosted anymore. i am pretty sure i gave in to slowwhands demands to host, and he set up the game. if you want another, just ask, the dark archons are afraid to play nobody.

You're a liar.
I demand an immediate rematch, and I will host.
I suggest tonight. 7:00 Central.
Tuatha De Danann will now play by the rules that you deem fine.

As leader I and I alone decide when and if we play matches. The first thing i want to know is who hosted the first game. If it turns out you hosted(like you did the other 2), then that means everything you keep yapping about isn't even remotely true.
Also me and bezerker will be playing another game tonight so we don't have time.

You're right Markusf. Not Kuja's call to make.
Yet, I think he does other things you wouldn't particualarly agree with.
Kuja hosted the first session.
I hosted the second, and I THINK Darflex hosted the 3rd. I don't know for sure, because I wasn't playing. Berzerker was however.
Anything after the first session and the start is a mute point, and I'm not going to concern myself with it any more.
I have the answer.

I was there for the first game, and Kuja hosted. I protested to my tribemates, pointing out the questionable past acts of certain members of the opposing side, but the dagda decided not to force the issue then.
That said, if the game is finished, I would like all players to declare their passwords, so we can check for other "anomolies".

Khan, are u saying that me and jedi are cheaters too? Your whole tribe is fu**ed up. Sloww is prancing around like the fairy he is saying that I am like a convicted criminal of cheating. Name one time I have cheated. It obviously hasn't been in league because my record blows, if I cheated I would win everytime.....

Up-I have not accused you of cheating. Same holds true of Jedi.
I have, however, accused Eyes of cheating. Kuja is suspect, from the number of grey things that happened during the first session. These are the two tribemates I refer to.
The reason I asked, and ask for still, the passwords, is that this alone will prove who did, OR DID NOT DO, what.
