I got Half Life (1) and Battlefield 1942! Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

I've been ignoring these games for too long. I saw a good deal in a shop, so I took it. I got Half Life + both XPs + counterstrike + 1942 all for only £25.

Anyway, I'm not gonna play them until I get home from the UK in ten days, so until then, decide which one I should play first when I get home. Also anything else, like hints, tips, fun things you can do that aren't strictly meant to be done in the game but are nevertheless enjoyable, etc.

Play Half-Life first. All FPSs made since Half-Life (except for Serious Sam) owe something to that game. It is truly a classic.

And BF1942 is great fun on-line, forget the SP part though.

CS is the most game there exists... and HL comes in as close second...

If you want a good MP game, play BF, if you're just looking for a SP game, you should get a refund, and buy Serious Sam instead

OK, chugging along through HL on the most difficult setting. The little aliens aren't too bad, especially now that I have the shotgun I believe I'm about 20% through the original game.
