I need to know who to send the save to in Lego (they get it after us, right?).

We then post in the where is the save thread that it was sent on. Do we need to do anything with the time counter? Anything else?

The Time Counter is updated automatically - Just be sure to post the word "sent" on the save thread - The Counter updates the stats on its own.

Hi - tried to post earlier when poly was down. Here's the addresses again:

The save - and the general rule has been to not rename it anything other than the name assigned by the game - goes to Lego:

And in the 'game sent II' thread, just post when you have sent it to Lego. Shiber picks up the time from the thread for the counter. The 'who has the game thread' is for comments regarding problems with the turn etc.

OK. I missed seeing the other post in the moves forum due to the poly problems.

Have fun. We can handle things. It will be pretty boring, except for maybe some FA stuff, as there won't be much to talk about until our cities get going.

Ok - this turn is our turn 127 in the GS agreement. Move everyone into Miller Town - and then gift the city to them.

And save a screenshot or something - I have never done this before either - and was keen on seeing the transfer. I suppose it will all be pretty anticlimactic. One turn we are here - the next there.

AND - RHOTH - we need a SPIN article on the final EXodus.

I will do something when I get back. I have a couple of idea. I will work on them on the plane.

Maybe hit an internet cafe.

OH yes - and see the RP thread. I got in a long chat with RP last night. And - I got a deal for engineering - 40 gold plus 3 gpt for 20 turns and a lux down the road.

Probably should not have - but hey - I can't help myself. And a promise not to reveal who they got it from. Given that GS and Lego got it last turn - we can always plead ignorance.

And if someone wants to contact ND about city investigations - great. Maybe a 20% surcharge for admin fees. And a free lux down the road.

I found other for sure that this game is being played with 1.21f when 1.14 would not load the save. So I downloaded the 1.21f patch and it worked fine. So Rhoth, if you don't have 1.21f yet you will need it before you play the turns later this week.

Yes, I believe most (if not all) the PBEM games are now with 1.21.

I've got 1.21f. I downloaded it when it first came out. I'm glad it's not 1.14f or I'd have to find the thread about going back to 1.14f (I remember seeing one, but I don't know where it was).

Am I playing the saves at the end of the week or is Wittlich? Right now I'm pretty sure I'd be able to. My mother in law is in fairly stable condition and will have gamma knife treatment tomorrow so things are going well.

BTW, Witt if you'd rather play the turns at the end of the week that's fine with me. I have some business stuff going on both Thursday and Friday nights after work so I wouldn't be able to play the saves until late at night both days.

It doesn't matter to me...I'm here just in case you can't play the turns - so it's up to you.

I will be flying from Sweden and returning back to the States this afternoon, so I'll be back in California tonight. Just let me know if I need to fill in. I'm planning on being in Northern California this weekend, but I will be taking my CD with me...so If I need to play the turn, I still can.

I'll continue to keep you posted if I need you to play the turns instead of me Witt. Right now everything is okay, but that could change in an instant. I'll post here or PM you on Thursday to let you know. Thanks again.

BTW Harry please let the FA contacts from other teams know that they need to send any FA stuff to either me or Witt while both you and Beta are gone. I was going to declare war on everyone, but I can't do that without knowing who to tell first.

Beta, After I get back Sunday evening I will be around most of August. Do you want me to continue to play the turns? There may be just a couple of days I will be unavailable and we can work around them. Starting the end of August I will be gone for a week and then I start three months of being gone almost every weekend. If you want a break from playing the turns, this will be a good time for me to do it.

Welcome back Beta. Have fun catching up. Hope you had a good vacation.

I played the turn Sunday morning so it shouldn't get back to us anytime soon. For some reason my email seems to have sent .dat files when I sent the save to Lego. Vondrack was able to extract it, but I'd like to test out sending some saves to my Vox teammates to see if it's really my email or not.

The cone head smilies are because 'Poly's fifth birthday was Saturday.

Also, if you want to have a longer break, if HarryH can only play through August I should be able to play the turns for a while after that....assuming I get the email problem worked out first though.
