I declare that I full support the 'Locked Alliance" proposal as sent forth.

I urge all Spainiards to pledge their support of this wise decision. It was not taken lightly, and I fully support our King in doing so. We had little choice. Spain will continue to grow and be a geat Nation of the world; eventually we will share the world with only one other Nation. I think it is big enough for the two of us.

Onward to a "Joint Victory" for both Role Play and Gathering Storm!

I agree with getting their aid. I reject joint victory, let us at maximum get help for now and later retake what is ours, or never giving it away.
Joint victory is bullsheat. And all this Hapinness at becoming vassals forever taht some of our teammembers are showing is almost getting my support fully away.
And I say we can still win the game if we survive this war. And alone.

You Lords who reject this treaty must weigh heavily your decisions. You forget that you have sworn an oath of Fealty to myself and my family. You forget what that oath involved, and forget the trust you placed in our leadership. You swore that oath because my family, as a greater power, could PROTECT you and your land. Alone you could not protect it yourself because the enemy was far greater than you. However, together, we have the strength to turn back the enemy thanks to the bonds and oath we swore under our Feudalistic system.

Right now Spain does not have the power to turn back the enemy alone, thus we must beseech a greater power to protect us. By doing so we are in the debt of such a power and, do not fear, we will do what we can to make this debt small and make it more of a partership.

I swore an oath to you, yes, I also swore that I would fight and die for you if needs be. I have given you everything, I have given the state everything. I have made sacrifices, and the state makes sacrifices. But must Spain be carved up despite this? What does it matter, then, who owns our cities, whether it is Arabia or Egypt? The point is, Spain no longer owns Spain. The Cow Valley is all we are left with, and this is not enough. It is the heart, yes, but the heart without the body is useless.

As for my land, this is an odd statement. The ancestral lands of the Calamaris will fall to Arabia if attacked and will be ceded to Egypt with this treaty. My land will cease to exist. But that matters not. What matters to me is that Spain may cease to exist.

Whatever decision is made, I will stand by you. I cannot see any other way that Spain can survive. Yet, I cannot now for the life of me see anyway that Spain can ever be powerful again.

We will have some of those cities gifted back to us in some time, other we will have to give to them. and they promised to give us ND land.
As soon as we are back at peace, we must start this team back again into full work like in the old days,. Good plans´n pals. We must get even more united in this times of dire need, fighting makes only our enemyes stronger. I hate GS. Though we must get this aid. When we maximize our production after the war, we must get a means of modernizing our infrastructure quickly and to get powerfull and fast units. We will aproximatedly in industrial age be able to kill them (E_T himself is an specialist on industrial warfare) we will get every drop of work we can form our land, and get our GA just before attacking ND. And we will keep trading, thinking and planing before that. they are most likely to commit the bulk of their strenght to those beacheads later on(when at peace with us) and we cna try to get an advantage with this. We cna hide our fleet in the LEgolandian sea, and build it up so as to have something with wich to kill them later on. We can get lego to sponsor us secretly as for us to kill their strongest enemy. This benefits us. We just need to make it clear to Lego wwe want to kill GS asap.

Lords of Spain, I beg of thee, do not leave Spain. DO not betray or abandon it. Now is The time were our strenghts and minds are needed the most. Spain is in it´s direst hour, but so was england in WWII, so was France, so Was Russia and so Was the USA. They all won through sheer will to win. So shall we.

Maybe if Spain has acted in a different way it could have been avoided. But this now is past and there is no point about complaining abou what could have been done and wasn't done. The nation/team must be together, because our division is in their benefit. I don't remember who said it, but the sentence "Divide and you will win" is very famous, and wise!
