If Canada was south of the United States, i'd emigrate in a hot second. I can't stand winter, and even the month long coldness of January here in Jax is still a bit too extreme for me. It like it hot, real hot. So hot that you drink pepper sauce to cool off.

And while Vancouver doesn't get as cold as the rest of the country, it has the same problem for me as Seattle, too grey (and you can't swim in the water). I needs my sunshine!

As it is, 1 out of every 15 Canadians lives year round in Florida and 1 out of every five Canadians visits Florida every year.

Florida is too f*ucking hot in the summer. I like 60's and 70's. Florida isn't cold in January! Come to Minnesota, you'll see what COLD really is, Che.

The only problem is that it is too cold for magnolias, palms, and Bald-Cypress.

Maybe poly should take up a collection so that all the people who just can't stand this country can move. It would be worth it to stop their constant whining about things. If I had as many objections about a place as some of you do, I would just move regardless of the cost and the temperture. If such small things keep you from moving then your objections to your current place of residence must not be so bad.

you don't think all the illegal immigrants or poor people actually pay for their bills do you. that is how illegal immigrants get care in the U.S. They go to emergencey rooms and don't pay the bill.

yes universal health care would be better. But we can't seem to make that work.
