Crappy. 
Here's a rundown.
Vikings got Great Wall which I suppose thwarted your attacks.
Rome Built Pyramids. 
English built Colossus.
I switched fron Sun's (which you had) and built Leo's in 1 turn after gettting Invention first.
Rome got Gunpowder first, 1 turn before me. I upgraded.
I got Leadership, first.
Rome offers peace, ( not bad decision), I counter with cease fire and Rome goes after English (poor decision).
I build Copernicus.
Rome builds S.O.L. (helps with English AI i suppose, who by now is kicking you around).
In short, and skipping ahead, I guess you thought a lot of cities was key.
I also guess you were wrong.
You retired at, what, 750 b.c. ?
