Monoplanes can not attack fighters in flight, that is true and it was intended to be so.

For the early planes of WW1 were light scout planes and the first dogfights used to be fought with a pistol or a light carbine by the co-pilot. Fot those reasons you shall NOT change the rules as these facts were intended.

I mean i constantly gift give any techs to my allies i can get my hands on(although the austrian AI tends to accept only one per turn).What is the difference between tech trading and Tech gifting?

The unique techs only reached the hands of Turks and Austrians by the breakthrough that occured when they received German troops.

P.S What of the bombers in this version then?

Tech gifting and trading of non-cic specifictechs IS allowed, gifting unique units is allowed too but NOT allowed is gifting civ-specific techs.

Be warned though that when f.e germany gives a German infantry division to the Austrians there is a chance the Austrians will get the "German Empire" tech from a breakthrough because the unit they received is more advanced from their own.It is simply in the civ2 engine rules.

Przemysl surrounded. Innsbruck will be surrounded next month.

Posen will be captured at least this year

Well Kronstadt isn't important. The people down there aren't really loyal to the holy crown of Austria and nothing more than a bunch of farmers you can have them Than you have to worry about the constant independent movements of these guys

At last the success so far denied in the Western front has been achieved!

Nancy has fallen to General's Buller's VIII Corps!

More than three french divisions were anihilated in the proccess. German looses were about 33.000 men, most from the 56th inf divission and the 5th artillery brigade that were both routed by the french defenders.

In the north, the port city of st. Lo fell to the advancing 44th division. The city was heavily shelled by a resurgent Kriegsmarine before being stormed by the infantry. For the first time, the new type of trooper that was being developed by the German army, the stormtrooper, was used in combat. Armed with grenades, body armour and trained in special infiltration tactics these new soldiers are expected to deliver victory for the Reich.


THE GERMAN ARMY COUNTERATTACKS ON ALL FRONTS!

The Slavic hordes were pushed yet further away from Koenigsburg and several of their divisions were destroyed.

Heavy fighting near Posen. The General staff is extremelly worried for the fate of the city and have ordered the Stettin command to reinforce the garisson.
5 Russian units were eliminated in the general vicinity, three of which have been succesfully identified as the infantry divisions "Polonia", "Alexander Nievski" and "Great Peter".


Despite these successes an undentified Russian presence SW of Posen still worries the General staff.

P.S I have offered reinforcements to the Austrians which although they accept, they don't seem to get. In explaining they have accepted a veteran stormtrooper unit from Koln, but after they thank me for "the magnificent gift" the unit is still in Koln.
Any way around this?
