Can't believe most people are picking 'wings' that are not functional. Why do you want useless wings - because they look good? Just think of what you could accomplish with another set of arms!!

I read it as arms or wings in addition to existing arms. So I'm content with the two arms I have, and think a pair of wings would be damn cool. Anyway, it depends what you mean by "work". So I wouldn't be able to fly, but I imagine I could still flex them and extend the feathers and stuff. Oh, it was that easy? Not as easy as it sounds. When you see a female, don't you immediately make a judgement on her looks? Well, that's about the best argument I've heard for choosing wings, but I'll still take the extra arms. I'd use them to be the greatest lover in the world and I'd use them to kick some serious butt.

I laughed at a funeral once... possibly the worst place to choose to laugh and it wasnt that bad IMO.

I don't know if a funeral would be the worst place. Since people deal with grief in different ways, a wide range of emotions are tolerated at a funeral.

Probably the worst place to laugh would be in the middle of a religous service. Or maybe if you accidently stepped on Shaq's foot and he wants an apology - that would be a bad time to laugh....

I conjecture you would fall slower no matter how non-functional they were. It's unlikely they'd have sufficient span to allow proper gliding though.

Worthless? I think something's worth is subjective, yet you seem to think you can speak for everyone by labelling it as 'worthless'. I think this thread is worthwhile because many people have posted in response and sought to continue the discussion (Including sycophant Wombat, who chimed in with you). For that reason it is a contribution to this forum.

But why dont you go ahead and tell us all why this type of thread is beneath you. Why it doesn't live up to your high standards, o great arbiter of worth. What threads have you created recently? Let's examine them. Please also tell us how you rose to a position in life where you feel confident in determining an object's worth for everyone.

And while you're at it, pop a couple of Midol. You'll feel much better...
