Yeah, I imagine it is being encouraged by the media and society, but some parents have to get more involved in their kids' lives. I don't mean forbidding clothing (well in certain cases, like this one), but rather teaching them respect for their bodies at a young age.

You want her to think that she doesn't want to go around making everyone think she's a tramp simply because of her clothes.

Well, it seems that you choose the similar attitude as Snapcase as for approaching my opinions. Too bad that you didn't really spent time thinking the content of those, rather just read hastily read the words and made the comment under the first impression.

Why? That happens on every high street in the country here at the moment: hot summer days (school is out) where the 16/17 year olds hang out dressed all "hip-hop" (or what they think that means, usually involving un-buttoned shirts and the displaying of white underwear) and flirt with girls. Is that so wrong? It's just a stage people go through, everyone does something similar, I don't think it's anything to get worked up about.

Well, if you're talking about guys letting there pants about to drop and being all hip hop, then that's a bit different, don't you think? THey're not trying to show their buttcrack purposely to people, I mean really show, not just hang their pants too low. There is difference between being sexual on purpose and overdoing it, and other things.

Fashion rarley works well in real life, with real people. Most of us doesn't live our lifes in a music video and thus fashion statements often look like ****.

I'm getting really tired of butt cracks and/or seeing womens underwear due to the low cut of most pants. It just doesn't look good. Another thing is this trend that has been ongoing for years now amoungst girls and younger women to show the area around the navel. This might be cool if you have a flat tummy, but how many girls have that, at least when they've reached puberty?

I guess it's fashionable to look like a loser...

I would NOT complain if she was few years older, but she was a bit young you know. And there's my beef, underaged women dressing like that. You can't even buy jeans like that, you have to modify them to have that 'full access' look.

I'd complain if she was a few years older. Well maybe not complain, but express disaproval. Obviously the fashion is to attract men, but do women know what kind of man they are attracting with that kind of fashion (ie, the in it for a one-night stand type of guy)? If they do, why do they do it?
