I challenge anyone to, while actively posting in the OT, not use a SINGLE SMILEY in any of their posts. Not to indicate sarcasm, or humor, or contempt. The prize is... umm... a congrats thread.

For how long do you want us to do this? I mean, if the challenge is to "never use smilies again, and I will give you a congrats thread at the end of time," then count me out.

Also, if we use smilies without the picture showing up (like ;) ) then are we disqualified?

I can't read every thread.

Tuberski - since it's not being used to indicate emotions in the text (the main reason people use smilies so often, because they make it a heck of a lot easier), I'll say it's ok. However, you have to put it at the end of every OT post.
