I think those warrior orders are backwards. GHG is in the east by the lake and GB is in the mountains. Those orders backtrack where they have already been.

W03 can move out and back before he is needed for happiness control. See my post here.

What level are we on again? In that case, we should be building a settler, not a granary. Any more growth will require an entertainer and just cause us to stagnate anyway. Setup the food and shields so the settler comes out on the same turn or the turn before the next pop growth. Then we will be at pop 2 with some time to work on building a granary. The new town can then work on additonal warriors to control happiness while the granary is being built.

If we do have unhappiness probs at size 3, we need to build a settler first.

Just tested it. The game SHOWS that we're on Regent level at start up, but if we move a warrior out, we get 2 content, 1 unhappy citizens.

Settler it is...

Agreed. From that spot we can do the "3 food shuffle" and get 4 turn growth from both cities.

Has anyone checked the food on the water tiles (see here)? I have not see it posted, or did I miss it?

For anyone who is interested, I checked those water tiles I was so interested about. They show only 1 food. The large water body is not a fresh water lake. It is either the edge of the ocean or there is at least one sea tile in the lake. We could be on the the top of a peninsula or there may be a land bridge south of a landlocked sea.

The only water tile that is fresh water is the one at the top NE of the floodplain.
