try the pbem forum, if that's your cup. much more popular than the simul mode and turnless, would seem. Especially after what those modes were like at release and the nature of civ, not a suprise.

Some of us still do have a great time playing multiplayer. I am one of them and play it weekly at the least (one to one btw). But I do agree it is hard to find opponents. Especially during summertime. I myself just returned from holiday and am quite busy the coming month with the games that I still have running. But Docker, why don't you accept the invitation of Louisr and find out for yourself?

i never enjoyed civ 2 one on ones, much prefered multi players 4-7 was good . so i dont think i would enjoy a one on one in civ 3. my greatest enjoyment from civ always came from the interaction , not necessarily in winnning

No problem. I think turnless might work,then maybe the time is irrevelant,I prefer Romans.I am going to read directions on turnless and get back to you.

Kaiser,I think you and Paddy need to be online when I start the game,we will use the name of this thread as the password,if both of you could give me a time(GMT) when you could be online I will try to be there also and start a password protected game. What say both of you?

Sorry about my delay,car troubles!!!!!!! Also still waiting on Paddy,you are very flexible and 2300 GMT is also good for me,and if Paddy can be online at 2400 on 03-14 I will launch our turnless game,if He isn't I will still do so,it will be password protected with "anyone can come here" all in lowercase,o/k/ with you?

I know what you guys mean i got CIV3 a few months ago and still haven't used the multiplayer on it. We used to have a lot of fun with multi at my work on Age of Empires. SO yeah i'd love to multi w/ anyone anytime.

Sorry,my fingers were working faster than my brain,you have stated the correct name of this thread and what will be the password for our game,I am willing to try as many people want to play brand newbies,see how that works,and if it keeps crashing restart new games with us splitting into smaller groups,I meant to start on 9-14, which I believe is Saturday, at 1900 GMT which I believe is 1100 my time,anybody interested is welcome and Kaiser has what will be the password,unless we want to change it to something more simple,everybody responding please state or restate the civ you would like to play, we are just playing to try this out,and it seems to me we have a great mix of people and countries and I am very excited about playing all of you.
