per jdm's last post in the turn-tracking thread, it's diplomacy related - with 'Poly being down for so much of the weekend they can't get their polls together, nor can their negotiatee.

That's why I'm not fretting too much - just gentle prods from time to time in their respective forums as and when I can get on myself.

(And besides, in the official polls of a few months ago the only power i have is persuasion and public rdidcule - the option of having me play the turn wasn't accepted)

Captain Hercules is definitely having some problems, very likely xenorum related

He is in a PBEM with me and he asked the player before him to send him turn 2105 when he only played 2104 and now 10 days after we played 2104 he sends me turn 2104 again.

I suspect that the Pirates and Uni have made contact.

The pirates may be stalling and the Uni may be going quick so that it appears like they have not made contact.

Also, my gut feeling tells me that the CyCon have not made officail contact yet.

I think we should anticipate a Pirate-Uni peace treaty, I have little evidence to back this, but I would not be surprised if this was the case.

My driving prerogative throughout my entire stay at the Hive was keep the Hive safe. I didn't really care about going to war against other factions, as long as the Hive stayed in the game nice and secure. At the time I was trying to assert whether the Hive had any alliances against it.
