hmm. Against my better judgment, here I am The page is a bit screwy, as its fairly old and obviously not kept up much anymore. Click on "In line for Episode I". I'm the guy in the white that destroys my friend's saber. And yes, thats the dual blade. He apparently edited the sound clip to sound much nerdier than it actually was, I had a point. It was all worth it, as when we drew lots to buy tickets, mine shocking came up first. I was a mini celebrity, all the guys in robes loved me. Unfortunately, the movie....
Again, I post this against my better judgment....bye bye shot at political office.

Imagine how you would feel in the same situation :-
You hear that you have to make a project , and after some deliberation , decide to go for that Swar Wars movie . You have some doubts as to whether your peers will make fun of you , but you decide to go for it anyway . You make the video , present it to your class , and keep it away . Some time later , you go to check , and find it's not there . A little later , you come to know that some friends of yours have got it . A few days/months later , you fing that your worst fears have come true , and not only are your peers laughing at you , but so are millions all over the globe .
I , personally , wouldn't want to be in such a situation , and I don't think anybody here would either .

Nah, if they stole it a LAwsuit is appropriate.

The "friends" of the poor lad apparently didn't stop at posting the video online:
quote: Complete with misspellings, bad grammar and cyber-style acronyms, the exchanges are used in the statement of claim as evidence that the boys lacked remorse. They also brag in them that they evaded attempts by school officials to find the culprits behind Ghyslain's misfortunes.
Ghyslain's parents and lawyers would not speak to reporters yesterday. The parents of the defendants either did not answer calls or refused to comment because the dispute was before the courts.
While the video of Ghyslain's antics generated some derisive Internet comments, others felt bad and started raising money for him. One group collected more than $3,000 (U.S.), which they used to buy him an Apple iPod portable music player.
In the excerpts from Internet chats filed in court, the four appear to be plotting ways to get the gifts sent to another address so they can keep the iPod for themselves. |

But let's look at the real options he has. Sue and look like an *******, or try to laugh it off and be thought pretty cool, or do nothing and let it die down Some people here seem to think he should do what will make it worse.
What else can he do? If he wants it to go away, suing is the last thing he should do.
Anyway, this reminds me of an amusing item I saw on TV a while back. I was watching a live phone in talk show and this Indian guy rang up. He had a really thick accent and began relating his problem to the sympathetic experts.
He said, "I am an Indian man from a very strict religious family and I am seeing a white woman who is not a Hindu."
Thinking they've understood his problem, the experts start rabbiting on about racial and religious tolerance.
But the man interrupts them saying, "No that is not my real problem." He then explains that he and the woman made their own sex film and he's feeling quite bad about it.
The experts advise him to destroy the tape and talk to a counselor if he feels guilty about doing it.
But he interrupts them again saying, "No that is not the problem, you see I put the film on the internet and now I want to get it off. How do I get my sex film off the internet?"
Holding in their laughter the experts explain to him that no one can do that.
This really happened: it was on CityTV here in TO.
