I think that we should have them in this coming Fall. There are allready TONS of new scenarios ready for competition, as well as a few new websites. We dont need to wait a full year fellas, I say lets have it start once the sdc is over!

Actually John, we really do not have a set date for the next Hodadian Awards. They will occur when we have a decent nominee list ready.

We will only be accepting original add-ons for nomination this time around, and the past winners in the website and human categories will NOT be eligible for HAC awards for 2000 in the categories which they won awards for in 1999. (Meaning Apolyton is effectively ineligible for any HAC awards in 2000, since it won practically all of them in 1999).

We have decided to drop the Best Webring award due to a lack of interest.

More info will come with time.

Reismark, why not?

Lets not speak about websites, lets speak about humans. If(for example) Jesus Balsinde makes some new great scenarios during the year, shouldn't he be nominated for them again??

I have to back Mark G on this one, I think that previous winners of "civer of the year" or "best scenario designer" should still be eligible for the next year! "Best actor" winners are still eligable the next year round.

As far as website winners go, I agree with Reismark. Websites like Apolyton are monumental, not very likely to be beaten.

Is anyone eligable to nominate new scenarios for this year? if so I have a few I would like to.

I'm new at this, am coming out with NUMEROUS scenarios a year, and have a website though I am probably STILL not going to be in the awards because no one is visiting my site cuz search engines won't post it!

I'm sad. I always wanted to be in the awards.

On the good side, Part 1 of Jason is already NEARING COMPLETION! War of the Roses could be done on Friday or Saturday.

Though also pretty sad.
