	guys like me Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

So I was out a bit, getting some sun in my buddies backyard just for a while. Well sun isn't really up anymore, but it was a good excuse to get semi naked and have few drinks.

So my buddies sisters friend gave me a lift home, and she's pretty cute I thought, and I was in a good mood so I thought what the hell and asked if she'd go out with me. Now, I don't ask girls out often. But this time I did.. I was so smooth, changing the radio station first, opening the window a bit to get my hand out and get a good relaxed thing going on and then I just went for it 'I've noticed you around.. ' and she replied 'I noticed you too' and I was so sure I'm hot stuff now and blurted 'so.. you want to go out with me? we can do some fun stuff' .. 'No'
'why not?' 'because I don't like guys like you'... 'guys like me??' 'Yep.. guys like you'. And then no words until I was back home. I really don't know what she meant by that, but anyway, are there guys like me around here?

You should have been less blatant. Instead try chatting her up for a while and try to figure out what her interests are. If she likes music talk to her about music, ask open ended questions, and let her do most of the talking (people love to talk about themselves). Then mention how you like music type X as well and that there has been this concert coming up and you really would like to go but you don't want to go by yourself...

Oerdin, nah.. nah.. I think there was not so much wrong how I did it, she just didn't want to go out with me . I mean she really DIDN'T want to, she wasnt that gentle with it . But that's ok, I just try to laugh about it.

It was a good 10 minute drive after that too, pretty uncomfortable . Well what the hell I gave it a shot!

AS, no we've seen each other few times in my buddies house. Exchanged few short conversations, but nothing much.. let's just say we'd say 'hi' in the street if we bumped but that's all. I guess the 'hi' thing is out of the question now too

Ok, I understand. I hate uncomfortable siliences as well. I think I would have tried to keep the conversation going though by asking her "Guys like me? So what sort of guy am I? I'd love to hear a woman's point of view." and stuff like that. That way you might be able to turn a bad reaction into a semi-ok one ("I think he's not my type, but, he was a good conversationalist and he seemed to really be interested in what I thought...").

If you were there, you'd understand why I didn't ask it again.. She didn't even think twice how to put the rejection, and I didn't have time to wonder what she'll answer it was that fast and determined . I was afraid to ask again, I thought she'd get annoyed and let me out of the car or something.. it wasn't 'no I'm sorry.. I don't think I'm interested in you' with a smile, it was 'No', short and simple . I thought about saying after silence came 'that's ok.. you could have put it a bit nicer though', but I wasn't sure if she'd take it well or not
I guess she thinks I'm a bastard .. that's ok. I don't like her either anymore! BOOOO!!!!

AS, Nope.. it only meant something fun, nothing sexual.. Fun like going out to amusement park fun or fun like.. well just generally good times. Meaning no pressure, no obligations, just fun that if we don't hit it off, we can do it as friends too. But I guess I wasn't her type.. AT ALL
