Help Plato back up Civ III Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Well the dog likes PTW. That's right, she ate my disk. I now have disklets.

So I thought it would be a good idea to make a backup copy of my Civ III disk. Made a new disk with windows copying wizard, but it won't run! All the files look like they are there. Is there a trick?

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Civ use Secrom copy protection. This will prevent your standard copy apps from working.
I can not go into the details, but there are tools to make a working backup for Civ and PTW.
I actually use Alchol120 which copies the file to disk and I play from the disk file via a virtual drive.
No CD's are mounted on my games.
