Didn't you read the rules, Mr. Temba?
The sounds can still be given in for the official contest! You can submit two entries - for People's Choice there's no limit on sounds, and for the official contest you just give Cam your best 2MB. And you've now got until September to finish! And HAC (and our XOOM portal) will both host BOTH versions that people can submit! So what in God's name are you talking about?

yes I read the rules the peoples choice contest is what I'm talking about, gamenation servers are faster than xoom thats why I'm offering my site to host the sounds for peoples choice and the scenarios too if they want.

Since you bought it up.....

I can't limit my sounds, even removing all the events sounds leave more than 2 megs. I will have my scenarios sounds judged fully or not at all.

also I think it sucks that you extended the contest. How much longer will this go on? Will someone complain in August and make you extend it to late December? Will we have until the year 2000 to finish this?

I think everyone else understood this...

Then Gary would have to allow people to upload to a HAC portal that would be on your site. I'll talk to him about it. Remember Mr. Temba, I work on Civ Nation too...

If you don't want to cut your scenario, then just do what the rules say and just enter People's Choice. It's up to you. We've given the participants a lot more flexibility this time around. If you're so upset that the limits on sounds stay for the official contest, talk to Blackclove. He made the call on that issue.

And I will say this now:

September 1st was the FIRST CHOICE I recommended, and the deadlines will NOT be moved again. If it isn't ready by the first of September, tough luck.

I think this clears up a lot...
