Just to let people know, we have four entrants already received for the Scenario Design Contest II from a likely ten.
Only a few days to go...

An update...
I received seven entrants in total (there were some last minute withdrawals and people who asked for codenames yet did not respond from that point).
Despite a reduction from our expected ten, all of the scenarios appear to be in good working order, and all play on the Fantastic Worlds version of Civ2. I personally consider the smaller number is more manageable, as most scenarios are (expectedly) complex and will take some time to fully absorb - time well worth spending dare I suggest!
Blackclove has begun digesting the scenarios over the last few days in order to determine, in the fullness of time, an "Official" winner.
As for the "People's Choice" - I anticipate that three of the seven will have sound files greater than the "Official" 2 megs. Reismark (or myself) will provide details on downloading for 'public consumption' in the next few days (when is Labor Day for us non-USA-ers b.t.w.?)
Many thanks to (in no particular order) "Sagan", "Moore", "Archer", "Barron", "Baum", "Foster", and "Dietz" for their entries. For the curious, the codenames honour the following authors of fictional / sci-fi works; Carl Sagan, Alan Moore, Nathan Archer, Thomas A. Barron, L. Frank Baum, Alan Dean Foster, and William C. Dietz.

So does that mean the time for submitting scenarios is over?

'fraid so. As per the rules, submissions were required by the First of September - hac.apolyton.net/rules.shtml
The community will probably determine if there's enough interest for further contests after the 'wash up' of #2 - Earth 3000.
