I don't know if it's just me, but did anyone else notice the huge number of squid in various scenarios (no, none of them are mine). From this, I can conclude one of two things:

A) Other people have finally seen the light.
OR
B) They're shamelessly trying to get my vote in the PC Award thing.

I suspect the latter. Other examples are the names of various forumers (mainly from OT) as civ leaders in "Archer" (or whatever)

BTW, if you are trying to shamelessly get my vote, it's working rather well.

(Also, while I'm posting, another question. The ocean scenario (Archer, I think) obviously uses a map very different from the original. Is it still allowed?)

I for one would vote to allow it because:

I don't recall a scenario ever using it;
It stays with the spirit of the original map by leaving the continents' shapes intact.

MD: although I've never played a scenario that used this it isn't new. I've seen European adn world maps who were like this. Land instead of water, and water instead of land.

And this way water IS land, although it still loos like water. But it simply is land. I dont know if this is allowed now I think of it...
