in store by the end of october , in europe around X-mas time , one or two patches , that puts us around march or april 2004 to have a good game , .....

well it does hit the stores in australia the same day as in the US , .....

rumour control has two dates : one ; a week before X-mas all over europe , two ; the same day ( with the possibility of one week delay ) as in the US of A

Finishing this one does not seem to be a good option (see previous posts), although I would have liked to see the conclusion of this game. But the next game can be even more fun, since Togas and I have come up with lots of neat ideas to make life difficult, eh, fun, for you all.

Maybe if we do a quickie DG (ie a standard map) then we could do something with conquests (like play a conquest?).

As it is obvious that this game will end - this is what I would like to see happen with it.

We continue in it until BFM and Togas get the new game up.

Once up, we turn this into a succession game. Each person plays 5 turn, then reposts a save. We still make plans together and what not. We just keep passing the game around, playing our 5 turns, until we win. That way this game doesn't die, we just play it in a way that doesn't take forever.

What ya think?

Well perhaps. A nice idea, but it will still take forever to play a few turns. Count me out for one. However I am DYING to use the map with a drastically smaller number of civs.
