How will the voting for the Peoples choice award go this round? Last time if I remeber right it was every person got to pick a first and second place, the first place got three points and the second place got one point and the points were tallied up. That seems like a good way to do it this time too, except I would prefer not posting on the forums what our votes are.
Also what is the timeline for this contest? When will the offical award be decided? When will the Peoples Choice be voted on? When will it be revealed who the authors are?

I hope Reismark can field this one. I am ready to pronounce a decision as soon as the Peoples' Choice voting has been completed, which will hopefully not happen until everyone has had a chance to try out the entries.

Michael! LOL!
I have no contact with high schoolers..except my newphew. I teach a few
junior college courses currently as one of
two jobs.
Regrading:Scenarios---hmmmm..that would be
very tough to make. I've never even considered it. I could help folks in making
scenarios i guess!
Hmmmmmmm
If I did do a scenario...it would probably
be either Roman or Ancient Greek. There could
also be a more political Pelop. War scenario
since lots of politics went into that war as it was sort of a cold war.
I suppose another interesting scenario could
be a politcal one dealing with the
world powers before world war one a la the
old board game, Diplomacy.
Take Care!

If you've played the scenarios, then you can vote. The more people vote the better the odds are that the best scenario will win!

Duglis, I think you should really have a try at making a scen yourself. There are so many people who think they know a lot about history but you'd probably make a much better quality scenario then most of them if you'd try.
There are plenty of experienced civ-ers who are, I'm certain, very willing to help you, and there are also a number of excellent guides to help you. And, you can always decide to co-write a scenario with somebody else.
So, have a try and you won't regret it.
