	"so and so" wears apolytonwear, why don't you? Support Apolyton

I see this message under some peoples logins. How does it get to be there?

I was one of the very first to buy a t-shirt (and mousepad too) when the store first opened, my picture was even up at the time, with me wearing my shirt! I want the little advertisment thingy by my name, so i'll feel more special

IIRC it was something Markos was trying out and for some reason it stayed there (mr Mitchel). I think it was because he kinda liked it, try sending a PM to Mark or Dan and see what happens

Markos was trying out a new style of advertisement. I attempted to get my title to be an ad, but instead he put this in, and, as they say, the rest is history.

I like it. It's my own little help to Apolyton...I don't know how many people have actually used it though. Still, we enter the twilight reality of marketing here, and brand impression and the rest of that finagle can't be measured using anything logical, so I guess it's worth the bandwidth Apolyton uses to send it out.

If you really want it, you can PM Markos, but I don't know if he'll bother with giving it to you. Besides, it's a real easy way to see my posts in the thread now that avatars are off

If you want to see the story of it, it's in the old Ads FAQ thread. Search doesn't work with words smaller than four letters (an annoying habit) so I can't give you the address.

hi ,

a lot of people in the office have a "my words are backed with nuclear weapons" coffee or thee cup , ......

not to mention about some of the custom jobs , .......

we can help apolyton , ..... when c3c and civ III gold come out we can order and buy it true poly , ....

I might get a coffee cup. But it seems silly to pay for postage and handling for one small things. What else do they sell?

if it aint in the store it can be made for you , a lot of people want to change this or that , .....

and you can always order a full bananabox , this would save on the shipping charges , .....

I can't really see myself going out in public with any Apolyton wear on. Maybe the hat but even that would be pushing it. Of course I might still buy the hat one of these days and then just put it in the closet.

I wear my shirt all the time. The funny thing is, since I'm an IT director, everyone assumes it's a software company.

whats wrong with the shirts , ....

they are great quality

and the hat is great to bump in fellow apolytoners on the most strange places of this planet , ......

the attach is an example ;

it would be great to see an ashtray with apolyton in and on it

needless to say that this ashtray would not be used under any circumstances for smoking , .....

We can only offer an Apolyton-branded product if CafePress (CP) offers the base product for branding. In other words, if CP doesn't have an item up for customization then it cannot be sold in the Apolyton Store.

That said, feel free to submit your suggestion -- and image even too -- to CP for consideration. Check their website to see if there is a specifc procedure for doing so (if at all).

well they still have not gotten back but they have recieved the mail , .....


btw , to introduce a new idea only for one item at one cafepress customer ( apolyton ) shall be a no go , so the idea was not only brought forward for apolyton , but for all the cafepress sites , .....


but now something else , what about a pin , ....

this should be made by poly and for poly only , .....
