From memory it was about three weeks after the scenarios were released.

I guess to some extent the number of voters who have contributed (including the contestants) should be used as an indicator of a minimum length. At least ten valid votes (I suggest) should be received before the voting is done. I will e-mail everyone who requested a code name to get involved with the voting in order to push this along a little.

This is as good an opportunity as ever to advise that there was a League update a couple of days ago that included my own review of the Moore scenario; sleague.apolyton.net/Reviews/ch_moore.shtml

I'm bumping this one up into the active zone - we're getting close to a few announcements (aren't we Reismark?) on Contest #2. Once again, if you've yet to vote and had a good look at the competition, I'd encourage you to vote now.

Are we all SDC-ed out or is there an opportunity for #3?

I am already making plans to launch SDC #3 in April 2000. As for what's coming up on the site...

At the conclusion of SDC #2 (by the end of next week) we will launch Modpack Mania!, and more information on it is coming soon.

The projected launch date for the 2000 Hodadian Awards voting is February 1, 2000. Voting will run for one month only this time, but to get it off by then, we need NOMINATIONS! And remember these guidelines...

- In the add-on categories, only material published within the last year is eligible.
- Previous winners in the website categories are not eligible this year. (i.e., someone other than Apolyton will win them this time. Apolyton will be eligible again in 2001.)
- It is preferred that all nominations be FIRST-party. If you don't know what that means, get a life.

And of course, we'll hand out POTW's along the way...
