My campaign platform is based on the fact that we only need two techs before we start to go for Invention. Invention is our goal. With it we get our UU, the Berzerker. We also need to be well prepared for when we do get it by having several dozen Archers sitting in a city with a Barracks to take instant and massive advantage of the single greatest exploit in PTW. My goal is to have a Temple, Barracks and Marketplace (where applicable) in all the cities we will not be removing later in the game. I also want to have a MINIMUM of 30 Archers available before we get Invention as they will be impossible to build afterwards (Bezerkers replace Archers and do not require any strategic resourses). My platform also spouts a population control to keep our people happy while producing the most shields without wasting them.

I would like to close arguing that no matter how this election goes, it will end good for Apolyton.

Although the gifting cities thing is dubious, and a Multiplayer loophole that needs to be address by Firaxis, the exploit I am refering to is the upgrade of Archers to Bezerkers. For a mere 100 gold per upgrade, each of our Archers gain 50 shields of production cost, 4 attack points, 1 defense point and the ability to amphibious assult. All camparable units don't come until the late Industrial age and we are in the early Mideval.
