I would like to protest due to a flaw in the original map.
New Zealand and Australia are both coloured "lackeys of the US". Although this is certainly the case for the Australian Government (in particular the PM is in fact a puppet controlled from Washington, where Dubya himself disappears for hours at a time to his VR setup that lets him manipulate John Howard with a hand up his virtual a*se), it is not in fact true for New Zealand, as such. One may think that NZ is a US lackey due to the fact that our television has been colonised and our nation's defence rests completely in the hands of the US, but quite often the PM will make disparaging remarks about Dubya. We also refuse to allow Nuke ships to enter New Zealand, thus somehow making the entire world a much safer place. Furthermore, as we refused to send our sizeable forces to join the US in Iraq, it is thus that the Americans are finding the country so difficult right now. Were New Zealand to have sent it's incredible military forces there would be no problem.
It is also true however that the entire NZ economy is based around elderly American tourists exchanging single American dollars for 20 Kiwi dollars and the Lord of the Rings films. Also, whenever a single American star comes to visit the All Blacks win, the weather becomes nice and the economy skyrockets, so it is easy to see how we may be construed as being a lackey.
I apologise - this was supposed to be a small poke at the map and an attempt at humour. Somehow I got carried away and it seems to have resulted in the above bizarre comedy you have just read. Oh well, at least it's in a themed thread.
