I want to say thanks to everyone for their ideas!

It's really got me pushing ahead to implement them!

I want to have an african (HQ in SOuth Africa) puhsing north to and west to conquer the continent.
One they reach the Middle East and Europe, the real fun can start!

Also I like the idea of an Australian empire, pushing out from all directions to claim the surrounding islands, eventually clashing with the Pacific Alliance.

On top of this is the major war brewing between Germania and the UFA, with the Red Empire looking to expand too!

This is going to be a rather fun and mental scenario!

I used fairline's 2nd army tac chevron, as a placeholder, just because I need a new Australian Fed flag and his shields rock!

The green, yellow and red symbol is that of the Pan-African Coalition!

I know that the small size of the shield doesn't give you much room for manouvere on this, but how aboutt he modern day Australian flag with a different symbol replacing the Union Jack?

Didn't notice the yellow until I looked at it a little more closely.

Secondly, Pan-African Coalition? Who's in it? Sounds like something Nasser or Qadaffi would try to do.

There was this ancient Canadian plane that got scrapped because of politics, the Avro Arrow, I think. It would have put the Tomcat to shame... Sadly it would never appear in a civ scenario, otherwise. Mind if I take a shot at it???

I would suggest you call the Reichwehr => Reichswehr (including this "s" between "Reich" and "wehr" would be the correct german form).

Btw, I tried to create a Nimitz class carrier you might use ....

I am considering whether to give make a third generic unit.

A really crap basic jet or copter, to go along with the non-major civ's tank and SP howitzer.

This would replace the not very useful generic infantry unit.
As every civ has it's own troops anyway.

I am inclined to go for a copter...Cheap and nasty.

Anyone care to suggest a unit graphic?

I favor the elimination of all non-naval generic units. They usually just arent worth it. If you want the Africans to be able to build tanks, just give them access to tier1 Russian of German ones, and if every civ already has a UU infantry, then you are right, there is really no need for Generic infantry.

I'd love to give all civs a tank plane and trooper, but the slots don't allow that.

So I am going to give it some more thought.

I am not happy with Australians and Africans zooming around in the hugely powerful Russian and German MBTs...

maybe you could pit the lesser nations against each other (ie, Australia expanding westward while the Africans are expanding eastward, and have the three major powers funding them with weapons and such..
