	Re-positioning Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I'll be leaving soon, in about 10 days, so someone else will need to replace me as a turnplayer. Volunteers? (I'll be back later in August, but school will be starting, so I don't know how much I'll be around. Best to consider my leaving fairly permanent for now.)

Also, should we have a formalized FAM? At the very least, I think we need someone willing to be our main contact for the first civ we meet, and I think we'll meet them soon...

We don't have a very large (eh, from a numbers perspective ) or active team do we? I guess this isn't like GS and I can't just watch... doh!

I volunteer to be a turn player, or a head chef. I once successfully warmed a pot of leftover chili with minimal fire damage to the kitchen.

I vow that as turn player, no food source will go without proper fortifications. Not on my watch...

I could also be involved with diplomacy if it comes to that, but I'm really really bad with diplomacy. Just a heads up.

Whoops, missed this thread yesterday.

Let's see Aeson...as the second turnplayer when Kloreep leaves. Sounds good. I'd offer too, but I'm currently trying to figure out why I can't email savegames (as Zargon can attest ).

As for diplomacy...I'm still new to interteam diplomacy, but I'll volunteer to be part of the FAM team. I already have good relations with some of the members of Team Monkey and Cake or Death so either would be a fine start for me. I don't really know anyone from Latin Lover other than Master Zen (and I don't speak Spanish too well anymore).

After that, I could certainly stand in from time to time, though.

Aeson, if you'd like to be the other turn-player, that'd be great! I can get most turns (albeit a little later in the day than Kloreep ), but it's definatly good to have a second.

I need to retract my application to be a backup turn player. I've decided to withdraw from the PTWDG's, so won't be available for that or any position.

No I'm quite attached to my problems thank you!

Anyway, no I haven't yet. I should have a little time this weekend to fiddle so I'll check it out soon. If I can then I can probably be the back-up turnplayer for awhile. I'll keep you posted.

I believe my email troubles are fixed now. Some of my Vox teammates can now read my savegame attachments. I sent a savegame to ZargonX to see if it showed up (since he was the first one who noticed my email troubles). If he can read it then my email should be fine.

So assuming no one else steps up to the plate I can be the back-up turnplayer. If someone else wants to do it I will happily step down as I'm probably going to be the primary turnplayer for Vox in a few weeks...and I'm very busy at work (designing a 16 acre retail site tends to take some time).

Hi guys. I just wanted to let you all know that I made a major decision last night regarding the direction of my business. I'm going to be devoting a lot more time to getting it off the ground. I don't want to be an architect for the next 35 years. That mean I won't be able to devote as much time for Civ3 and 'Poly. I still intend to stick around and follow the democracy games (and give my opinions when necessary ), but I'm not going to be able to be the back-up turnplayer like I had said earlier. Sorry ZargonX.

I think he's talking of the SPDG where he did the right thing as president but it was technically illegal. Court case ensued and was thrown out IIRC.

I can do the FAM stuff, in the roleplay team I also do some diplomacy, so I'm familiar with it.
