-GS has made a city SE-SE of New Madrid. I guess this is their harbour city thing.

Go defense, try to keep Leon and raze Zara ?

Or disband Leon, and keep Zara ?

If it is showing a fortified Elite Pikeman then their big stack of units beat us to Toledo by 1 turn. Crud. One lousy turn. I don't think there is any way at all we can take Toledo now.

Re ND....

I don think that stack could of all come from Zaragoza...ND sounded pretty sure they were wearing them down.

I think they have emptied their capital to protect their retreating units from Zaragoza.

I think we are seeing everything they have got.

If ND takes Zaragoza (And can therefore use their roads)
Pours every defender they have into Leon
Then moves every Ansar they have into RP territory towards Papalona.

RP cant get their units back to Papalona in time, because they are 1 tile move only and in ND territory.

ND could take Papalona !

Why would RP units 'retreat' into ND territory? It looks like an offensive manoeveur to me. I don't think it is all RP's units; I think it is their main offensive force.

But thats my opinion

I don't think there is any way we can take Toledo. It has to have 9+ units in it now, behind walls and these are troops FROM the GS homeland.

"The Spanish Stack" has to be an offensive force. They are only two moves from Zargosa, so if they were retreating from there they would have moved the full three squares to the other side of the river and gotten the river defense bonus.

If there is any way ND can take "the Spanish Stack" in the open that would be a HECKVA lot of catapults to switch sides......

I'll be at the chat but I don't think it matters for 2 reasons. 1)I think a concensus has developed to manuever rather than attack. We move to that mountain s of Toledo. If they they have an invincible force there they can't defend both new Madrid and Toledo, lets make them choose. 2) the ND victory at Zargosa has put them into an excellent position on their on up in the nw. Thus urgency isn't as present as it was. Even if RP takes leon they will be so weakened as to be usless and be picked off easily(basically our position if Toldeo is heavily defended and we rush it.

-take back 100g from Vox.

-Trafalgar done Rider starts another.
-Sci slider put to 90% to get INV in 7 but lose 48GPT.
-Imperial city switched, wonder in 11 turns now.

-Settler builds city (Paoting), starts barracks.

-Tat worker roads.
-Camul worker moves S.
-R worker 1 mines.
-R worker 3 NE.
-Drednoughtica worker moves S-E-E. To help out with roads in the East.
-Skulgaria worker mines.

-Trafalger rider moves into Macao.
-Stack of 4 riders moves S-W.
-Rider stack moves to tile S of Toledo. Here's the pic before all are moved (you see 2 vet pikes)


-XXII Not Hillman Guard moves SE-SE-S.
-XVIII Port Isolation Guard GOTO Port Isolation.
-XVII Port Isolation Guard fortifies on hill.

-IInd Old Ironsides moves S-SE-S.
-Other galleys move E-N-N, they can only be hit by 1 RP galley now.
