Is it possible to get SNES and Genesis games for the pc? Increase the size of your Attachments

see when i was young i always wanted a video game system but we could never afford it so i always wanted to play mario, sonic, steet fighter, mortal kombat, etc. but couldn't unless i went over to someone's house.

so does anyone know any place where i can download freeware/shareware versions of these games (maybe made by fans?) for the pc? I got mortal kombat (through means i will not say ) but what about sonic, mario, etc.?

Yes and they are very easy to find.

Do a google search for Emulator (the program that runs the game, kind of like the console) and Roms (the games themselves). You'll find plenty of sites.

NOTE: These are 100% legal and good if you already own the commercial versions and just want a back-up. However, if you don't own the originals then they are illegal, if that bothers you then don't do it.

the best emulators, imho, if you want to do a search for them, are zsnes and genecyst.

as for roms, you're on your own. sorry~ the site i used to frequent no longer is up.
